The Foster Group provides various opportunities for dialogue to deepen mutual understanding with our business partners:
- Dialogue with Management
We hold the "Global Procurement Conference" every two years, attended by our President, related officers, and the management of our business partners, to share information and exchange opinions on management policies, procurement strategies, technology trends, and sustainability issues.
- Environment and Sustainability Seminar
We regularly hold seminars to promote initiatives on environmental and social issues across the entire supply chain, including explanations of the latest environmental regulations, sharing efforts and requesting cooperation on CO2 reduction activities, and explanations of surveys on responsible mineral procurement.
- Individual Improvement Activities
Implementation of collaborative improvement activities for individual issues such as quality, cost, delivery time, and environmental response.
Business Continuity Management
The Foster Group is strengthening procurement risk management to fulfill our supply responsibility even in the event of natural disasters or unforeseen circumstances. We are working to establish a rapid recovery system through securing multiple suppliers for critical components, appropriate inventory management, and efforts to visualize the supply chain. In an emergency, we will promptly ascertain the situation and cooperate with our business partners to minimize the impact.
